I've always been someone who needs to keep their hands busy, so it's no surprise I ended up with an artist’s workshop of my own. From crafting fully furnished miniature houses as a kid (complete with popsicle stick hardwood floors, of course) to sewing a good portion of my own wardrobe, I’ve never been one to sit still. After more than a decade working with gold and silver—both independently and alongside other jewellers—I’ve developed a keen eye for detail and a deep appreciation for the craft.

Originally from Cape Breton, I spent years exploring the world before settling on Nova Scotia’s South Shore, a place that’s felt like home ever since. When I’m not at the bench, you’ll likely find me outside—canoeing, hiking, or backpacking somewhere off the beaten path.

Sustainability matters to me, both personally and professionally. In my jewellery practice, that means sourcing recycled metals, choosing lab-grown or ethically traceable stones, supporting Canadian suppliers, and using minimal, recyclable packaging whenever possible.

Veres Jewellery is a proudly inclusive space. Everyone deserves to feel welcome, and I hope you feel that here.
